UEB's environmental policy was established to constantly remind us of our connection to the planet while quietly encouraging others by our example. The measures we undertake include:

• Providing eco training for employees
• Purchasing smaller, more fuel efficient company trucks
• Use of Call2Recycle® for recycling of all jobsite and office batteries
• Extensive use of *BIM
• Electronic submittals
• Separation of construction wastes
• Not using bottled water or plastic cups
• Office wide recycling program
• Purchasing green office supplies
• Use of natural, non-toxic cleaners
• Use of teleconferencing, GoTo Meeting and Basecamp
• Flexible work hours, telecommuting and compressed work week
• Review of our environmental performance through employee task force
• "Shopping list" estimating checklist for analysis of green building options
